On August 27th, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Greater Bay Area “Dish Basket” construction work exchange meeting was held in Guangzhou. The meeting announced the first batch list of “Dish Basket” production bases in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Greater Bay Area. Two dairy farms under Fengxing Dairy, Guangzhou Huamei Milk Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Suixin Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd., were selected as the two dairy farms in Guangzhou's 49 production bases.

Huamei Ranch and Xianquan Lake Ranch have a natural green ecological breeding environment. Both are introducing foreign improved Holstein cows, equipped with experienced professional breeding teams, using advanced intelligent mechanical equipment and monitoring systems to provide comprehensive health management services and comfortable living environment for dairy cows to ensure that the indicators of fresh raw milk are higher than the EU level. Both farms have passed ISO9001 quality management system certification. They are the milk source bases for Chinese students, the benchmark farm of farms, the first-grade certified pastures for agriculture. They are the agricultural production bases for Hong Kong and Macao that have been registered by the customs and approved by the municipal agricultural administrative department.

The “Dish Basket” construction in Greater Bay Area is an important measure to implement the “Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Greater Bay Area Development Plan” and strengthen the safety cooperation of edible agricultural products in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. The “Dish Basket” production base requires enterprises to meet the quality and safety standards for Hong Kong and Macau and ensure to supply the same quality and standard from the same production line as the products supplied to Hong Kong and Macao. After the selection of Huamei Ranch and Xianquan Lake Ranch, they will continue to set high standards and take “green food” as the quality development direction to provide fresh, safe and high quality raw milk to Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau Greater Bay Area and even the whole country.
