Recently, the Guangdong Yuexiu Agricultural Support Fund was officially established after being reviewed and filed on record by the Asset Management Association of China (AMAC). The fund was set up by the Charity Found under Yuexiu Group, marking the new achievements of Yuexiu Group in the field of financial poverty alleviation.
Different from the traditional direct fund input by enterprises, the Fund is operated by Yuexiu Industrial Fund, a professional industrial fund management subsidiary of the Group, and is committed to creating an effective and long-term sustainable assistance model. At present, the operation of the fund is mainly divided into three stages: Investment To maintain and increase the value of the fund through a stable portfolio investment, converting the assistance funds into stable cash flow, and supporting the development of local featuered agricultural projects.Introduction To introduce big enterprises, with the equity investment resources of Yuexiu Group, to promote the standardization and scale development of agricultural projects. At the same time, to introduce financial instruments such as futures and insurance, with the cash flow generated in the first stage as a guarantee, to help farmers resist risks and improve the stability of the projects.
Invigoration To support a number of high-quality projects through long-term cooperation, enhancing the market awareness, cultivating excellent enterprise and professional talents, and promoting local industries to achieve a leapfrog development. Currently, the first phase of the fund is about to be established.
