On February 4, FinanceAsia hosted in Hong Kong a grand ceremony for the Financial Achievement Awards, the Oscars in Asia’s capital market. Yuexiu Group, by its successful acquisition of Chong Hing Bank, excelled in the heated competition and won the year’s “Financial Achievement Award – the Best Financial Institution Transaction”.

The Asset, also an authentic institution, sponsored in Hong Kong an awarding ceremony on February 5, where Yuexiu Group received “the Best Transaction of the Year – the Most Creative Transaction Award” for its outstanding performance in the acquisition of Chong Hing Bank.

Both awarding ceremonies were full of shining starts, i.e., leading investment institutions and multinationals in the world, to witness the presentation of awards to the most influential transactions in the Asian capital market in 2014. The award winners are mostly international investment institutions such as HSBC, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Citibank, Standard Chartered, America Merrill Lynch, etc., and Yuexiu Group, by acquisitioning Chong Hing Bank, is a rare enterprise sample among them, exhibiting its remarkable capital operating ability to the international capital market and winning the admiration and applauses of the financial society.
